Before We Ask
There was a mother with two small children driving
over a very high bridge. The driver of a
semi-tractor trailer lost control of his vehicle and
slammed into several cars. The vehicle carrying the
mother and the two children were crushed and was
hanging over the edge of the bridge. When the police
arrived they thought that no one could have
survived. Then they heard some noise coming from the
car. They tried everything they could to get the car
opened up but it was rocking back and forth and was
dangerously close to falling over into the sea. A
man came up wearing a Navy uniform. He said that he
was the head of a Navy engineering team and had a
one-of-a-kind forklift, that can extend out, it
could tilt and rotate in any direction and lift
11,000 pounds. The officer said how quickly can you
get it here. While they were talking, it was pulling
up. There were only three of this type of forklift
in the world. They were able to reach out and lift
the car back onto the roadway. After they rescued
the woman and the kids, the Navy engineer told the
police officer how earlier that day they were
delayed three hours. They were supposed to be at
their location, but something caused them to be late
and they were just coming by; when the accident
happened.
There are many times in our lives when things happen that we think are coincidences, like a car that just missed hitting us. With God, there are no Coincidences. He said before you call on Him, He will answer. There are many times that we do not have time to ask God for his help. We are in trouble and He came to our rescue before we ask Him for His help. There are many times that God came to help us and we did not know it. Our God knows in advance what we need and He is there to help us when we need it. Sometimes the answer is starting to happen months before we need it. God is always on time, He is never late. Before we ask He will help us. ––––––––––––––––––––––––– New King James Version Isaiah 65:24 "It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. |
