A Word About Life and Things

 Mind Your Business

The first coin minted in the USA was the Continental Currency Dollar Coin, that was struck in 1776. It had the words on the Obverse side “Continental Curency” (Currency was misspelled) and “Mind Your Business”. It was designed by Benjamin Franklin, and was struck in Pewter, Brass, and Silver.

There are many people today who are trying to tell us what we should do, or not do. When men become famous, or become very rich, they think because of what they have achieved, they know more than anyone else, and start to tell everyone what we should do. We also have many politicians who think they know more than the general population. They try to run everyone’s business, and pass laws to run our lives on a daily basis. Our parents try to tell their grown children what they should do, even after they are married and have children. They cannot refrain from giving advice. God will not force us to accept Him. He lets us live our own lives. He does say whosoever will; may come, If we follow His path, then we are blessed. We do need to Mind Our Own Business.

There is one exception that God does tell us, what we should do. He says to the wicked man, “you shall surely die”. If we fail to warn him, then that man’s blood will be on our hands. If we speak to that man and warn him to turn from his wicked way, then his blood will not be on our hands. We are to bear witness to the men and women around us, of who God is, and what he expects us to do. We are witness’s to a world that is going to die a spiritual death. It is up to us to warn them and show them a way to God. That is our business.

      New King James Version
Ezekiel 33:8 "When I say to the wicked, `O wicked man, you shall surely die!' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.
9 "Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
