Gifts and Talents

            When Israel was still in Egypt, they became afraid of them because they had multiplied so much, and was a larger nation than Egypt. Pharaoh told his men to not give them straw or sand to make bricks. They also demanded that more bricks be made than before. The more that Egypt made life harder on Israel the more they multiplied. They could not stop them from multiplying.

      The enemy is always trying to stop us from achieving what God wants us to do. The more we do, the more he tries to stop us or slow us down. God has a plan for each one of us. The more we do for the Lord, the more the enemy comes against us. If we stand our ground, God will turn every attack against us, for our own good. The enemy cannot overcome us. The more he tries the more God will bless us. We stand fast, and we let our God fight our battles. The enemy tries to slow us down, but we let God know that we will not give up. We will trust God in everything we do. We give him the glory, when we are down, and He will lift us up. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and by our testimony. We are Blessed, and the enemy cannot stop God’s Blessings on us.

Exodus 1:10 "come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and it happen, in the event of war, that they also join our enemies and fight against us, and so go up out of the land."
11 Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh supply cities, Pithom and Raamses.
12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel.
