Gifts and Talents

            Christmas time is when we celebrate the birth of Our Savior. Many people like Christmas, because they can decorate their house, put up a Christmas tree, make cookies, shop for presents. But we forget what Christmas is about. It is about Jesus, the Son of God, who came to earth to provide salvation for everyone of us.

      The most important thing in our lives is eternity, that is waiting for us. We need to find Jesus before we leave this Earth. There are no second chances. God has said that today is the day for salvation. People have a tendency to put things off and think about it, but we are not promised tomorrow. Today is the day to submit ourselves to the Lord.

      When we choose Jesus as our Savior, God says to us “You are my son, today is your birthday. What do you want?” He says to name it: “Nations as a present? Continents as a prize?” “You command them to dance for you, or throw them out with tomorrow’s trash.” The best present we get for our selves is Jesus, who is Our Savior. With it comes Peace, Hope and a knowing that we are going to be with Him forever. God gives us life, and Jesus gives us salvation. Then we are ready to receive the Nations as our inheritance.
