A Word About Life and Things

 Eagles

Eagles are one of the largest birds and they are birds of prey. The largest eagles have a wing span of seven feet. They also have eyes that are twice the size of humans and can see eight times farther than humans. They will not eat dead animals. They attack a live animal and take it back to their nest which is the highest place they can find. Sometimes a crow will follow an eagle as close as it can get. The eagle cannot go faster than the crow. The crow can make a sharper turn than the eagle. When the eagle tires of the pest, it will catch a thermal wind and glide higher and higher until the crow can not go any higher and drops away. The eagle is one of the highest flying birds there is. When a storm comes the eagle will fly above the storm clouds. It is not bothered by the storms.

There was a man whose father died when he was thirteen. His mother had to raise nine kids by herself. She worked as a maid in a hotel. She never learned to drive. She would get up in the morning and get the kids breakfast and then ride the bus to work. She did not have a lot of money, but she had a lot of faith. She told her kids don’t worry tomorrow will be better than today. They heard that over and over, she kept speaking that every day. She kept speaking faith in them. God would make a way where there seemed no way. Against the odds, the young man went to college. He excelled in school he went on to Harvard University and got a law degree. He served 27 years in the state senate house of Representatives. He became the Mayor of a large city.

Your wife asked for you to sit down because she has a problem she wants to tell you. As she explained the problem you are trying to find a solution to her problem. The problem is she does not want an answer to her problem she just wants to unload her problem and maybe a shoulder to cry on. We men are always trying to find answers to the problems in life. Sometimes there are no answers to the problems, that is why God said to wait on Him and we will renew our strength. We shall mount up with wings like eagles. When we trust God with the problems in life we don’t have to worry, our God has it under control. He is the one we put our burdens on. He will give us the answer to our problems. We just need to wait for God to give us the solutions to everything in our lives. He is in control of our lives if we let Him have our problems.
