Gifts and Talents

         Some people think that heaven will be a boring place, because of the church to which they go, or what they have been taught. All of that is a lie from the enemy of our souls. The enemy will have us believe that in the presence of God that it will be boring. There is not a better place to be. Our God is the most gracious God there can be. He loves us more than we can imagine. Nothing about God can be boring.

      Not many people know what Heaven will be like. There have been people that have been in Heaven and came back to tell us about it. Some of the things that people talk about or say are a part of what Heaven is about. There are pearly gates. The streets are gold, there are many jewels that are used as decorations. There is a welcome center, we will need orientation as to what heaven is like. We will have a new body. Whatever age that we looked the best is what our bodies will look like. There are mansions that were created for us. The language we use on earth is the same language we will use in Heaven. We will understand every language we come across.

      There are many animals in Heaven. the Bible talks about horses, lions, and sheep. There are also unicorns, elephants, zebras, wild animals that are not wild in Heaven, pets that we had on earth, and many others. I would bet that all of the animals that are extinct on earth, will be in Heaven, as well as dinosaurs.

      The things we do on earth we will also be able to do in Heaven. We can choose any and all activities that we want. We can play tennis, golf, football, basketball, soccer, or go fishing. There is one thing that is not in Heaven and that is clocks. There are no days, weeks, months, or years, no need to live by the clock. Do you really think that our God can be boring? All things that God has made are for His pleasure. Our God gets pleasure in giving us those things. Our God is the greatest Creator and loves to give His children His creativity. We will expand our horizons, with more creatively. Heaven is a wonderful place.
