A Word About Life and Things

I Am

God told Moses to go to Egypt and to tell Pharaoh to “Let my people go”. Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, `The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, `What is His name?' what shall I say to them?" God said “I AM WHO I AM”, The I AM has sent me to you. I AM means He is whatever we need, whenever we need it.

We often admire people and hold them in high esteem. People who have attained more in life than we have. Some are very famous and are known to half the world. Some are very rich and have billions. Some are presidents of countries or have a high ranking in life. There are many religions in the world today. We are proud of the religion that we have. Religion is the fabrication of man. Some churches started out good. Then men come along and add rules and laws to expand the church. God gave us the 10 commandments, then man added thousands of laws to it.

God is not impressed with the famous, rich, or high-ranking people in life. He is not impressed with our religion. We look at the outside of people, but God looks at the heart. God is not religious. We are Christians, and as Christians, we are His church, or as the Bible says His Bride. Our religion will not save us. Our money will not save us. Only Jesus can save us.

When Jesus was in the world he stated He was the I AM. He said that He and the Father were one. There are not many ways into Heaven. Jesus is the only way to our Heavenly Father. Jesus came to Earth, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead. He is in Heaven with the Father and is our Advocate to the Father. We have to go through Jesus to get to the Father. He is the I Am and He is our Savior.

      New King James Version
John 14:10 "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
11 "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
12 Ά "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
13 "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
