The Palm Tree

The palm has 2600 species of shrubs and trees. The
trees can grow to 200 feet tall. Some palm
trees can live for more than one hundred years. Palm
trees provide coconuts, figs, nuts, sugar, and wax.
and some trees provide palm wine. The Coco De Mer
Palm Tree has the largest seeds of any plant on
Earth. The seeds can weigh up to 70 lbs. They are
located on two islands in the Seychelles Islands off
the eastern coast of Africa.
When Hurricanes come, a lot of trees are blown over! Trees like the mighty Oak Tree, Maple Trees, Walnut Trees, and many others. With the storm, the palm trees may bend all the way over almost touching the ground and they may be that way for hours. But when the storm is over the palm tree will straighten back up to a normal position. God said that we will flourish like the palm tree. When storms come in our lives we are sometimes bent over and almost touching the ground. The enemy has us where he wants us, almost destroyed. But after the storm, we stand back up and we are not harmed. Our God takes us through the storm and we come out the other side, unharmed. We have put our trust in our Lord and He looks after us. No harm will come upon us, because our God will take care of us.
