Gifts and Talents

         Everyone has hopes and dreams. We hope that we will get a good job. We hope we will get a good-looking spouse. We hope our kids will turn out well. We hope our business will be successful. Young girls have a hope chest for the day that they get married. Without hope, there is no point in living. Hope gives us the courage to go on.

      Our hope is in the Lord. We are the children of God. He gives us the strength to go on. Without God, there is no hope. But with God, all things are possible, because our God can do all things. He heals us. He sanctifies us. He gives us hope that one day we will be with Him in a better place. There are more than 5,000 promises in the Bible. Our God will fulfill all of His promises if we put our in trust Him. Our hope comes from Him and we will trust Him.
