A Word About Life and Things

He Sees Me

God has many names: “Jehovah Jireh” - “The Lord Will Provide.” “Jehovah Hoseenu” - “The Lord Our Maker.” “I Am” means that He is whatever we need Him to be. Hagar said a name for God that I love very much. When Hagar ran away from her mistress Sarah, Abraham’s wife she was in the desert and pregnant and God found her there and asked her where she came from and where she was going. Then God told her to return to Sarah and told her what Ishmael would become. Then she called God by the name “The God Who Sees Me”. He is the God who sees me, and you.

Many people do things that are wrong and sinful. When they are not punished right away they think that no one saw them and that they can get away with it. So they become hardened and sin all the more. They try to put our human attributes onto God. Maybe God is too busy and does not see us. But God sees everything. He said that he knows the number of hairs on our heads. And if He knows that there is nothing that He does not see. Come judgment day every one of us will stand before God and give an account for everything we have done and said.

We are sons and daughters of God and He cares for us. So He watches over us and will help us in our time of need. He does love us more than we can think and know. Our God sees us.
